Shirley Ruth Julian (71) of Galveston, Texas passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, in League City, Texas. She was born on April 3, 1954, in Galveston to the late Raymond and Florence Perrodin.

A lifelong resident of Galveston, Texas, Shirley was a devoted member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She loved her family and helping others. Shirley was a 1972 graduate of Ball High School. Shirley was employed at American National Insurance Company for 23 years, Hospice Care Team for 10 years and a private duty nurse.

Shirley is preceded in death by her mother and father Raymond and Florence Perrodin, husband, Laurence Julian, brothers Willie, Raymond and Eddie Bryant, best friend Pamela Glover and special friend Brandon Marsh.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, La Shonna Julian, Latrice Bryant, brother Joseph Perrodin, 4 grandchildren Dominique and Freddie Williams, Undria Wilson and Marquez Jones and 1 great grandchild Westlynn Brown.
