Galveston, TX — Ronald Lee Lewis, 72, of Galveston, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025. A steadfast man, devoted father, and proud grandfather, his legacy will live on through his compassionate nature, quick wit, and the joyful presence he brought to every moment. Born on November 12, 1952, in Monroe, Louisiana, Ronald was the son of Lee "Toochy" Lewis and Anna Belle Thomas. He is survived by his children Curtis Lewis, Lashaunttiya "Nudie" Lewis Casson, Edmund Lewis, Jmeseon "Shay" Lewis Ramos, Tiavonnie Lewis Wolf (Derius W), Ronald Lee Lewis Jr., 23 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter "Nudie," cousin Laura Robinson Miles, and grandson. In accordance with his wishes, cremation services have been arranged by Wynn Funeral Home. He wished to be celebrated privately by his children and grandchildren.
