Sunrise April 28,1941 Sunset October 7, 2024. I am Raymond Louis Jones mostly known as "BlueBell" after retiring from Blue Bell after 21 beautiful years at the Alvin, Texas division. I lived and was educated 1st to 10th grade at Dunbar in Dickinson, Texas; 11th and 12th grade in Atherton California and one year at TSU.
I was preceded in Death by my wife Alice Jones. My grandmother who would tan my hide if I didn't practice my piano lesson, Delilah Bivens (Joe Bivens), My parents Mary Solomon, JC, and Emanuel jones. My 2 sisters Elaine and Glenda. Brother in law Joe, Step Mother Forestine Jones and my beautiful daughter Sonsia.
I leave to cherish my memories Daughters Donna, D'andrea, Lynn, Delila, Rachel, Nikki, Sherine. My Sons Raymond, John, Herbie, Anthony. My sisters Pat Mott, Cynthia Mikens, Linda and Gwen. My brother Emanuel Jones.
I was happy to have been able to serve Warren Chapel, Wilber Chapel, and Faith United Methodist Church Family.
Our dad was a musician at heart, he was a member of the soul steppers, he played several instruments but he was mostly known for his Saxophone and piano playing.
