Galveston, Texas – Patricia Rene Mosley Parson, 66, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at her residence.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Shiloh AME Church, 1310 Martin Luther King Blvd, Galveston, TX 77550, where Pastor Brenda Johnson will officiate. Viewing will be at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life immediately at noon.

Patricia was born on April 5, 1958, in Galveston, Texas, where she attended public school and graduated from Ball High School in the class of 1976. She attended some college and later began her career at the University of Texas Medical Branch, working in pharmacy for 15 years. Afterward, she continued her career at the local Walmart Supercenter, where she was employed for over 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Flora Bell Mosley Thomas; her younger brother, James Thomas, Sr.; her sister, Dina Thomas; and her niece, Renesha Thomas.

She is survived by Larry Parson and her two daughters, Jaquelyn Mosley and Danielle Parson; her sister Lisa Thomas; and brother Dario "Bumpty" Thomas. She also leaves behind three grandchildren: Raphfel Moss, Jr., Ambrielle Parson, and Khloe Parson Scott. Patricia was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed. Her legacy and love will forever be in our hearts.
