Issac James Bennett was born on November 12, 1939 in Washington, Louisianna to Lucindy “Missy” Mack and Marshal Bennett. Issac was a member of Emmazion Baptist Church in Washington, Louisianna.
Issac relocated to Galveston, Texas after graduating high-school as Valedictorian of his class. He worked various jobs, including working in the pharmacy at UTMB, he was extremely good at science. He also had a beautiful singing voice and was an amazing entertainer. He lit up the room with his smile and his signature dance, “The Spinning Top”.
He leaves to cherish in his memory: his Wife- Delores “DD” Bennett; Devoted Brother Harold Bennett (Carrie Bennett) and Barbara Cade (Harold’s 3 children’s mother); host of nieces including Renee (Lawrence), Lottie, Kisha, Jessica; a host of nephews including Kevin and Harold Jr.
He was preceded in death by: his Grand Parents-Prince and Rosa Bennett and Lewis and Ida Pryer; Mother and Father Lucindy Mack and Marshal Bennett; 2 Siblings Lucille Provo and Roosevelt “King Bee” Mack; Cousins- Elijah “Toe” Oneal, Mike “Big Mike” Oneal, Irma Lee, Ida Oneal, Hudson Oneal, Henry “The Cutter” Oneal.
