Annesha Goodlow-Williams was born on October 10, 1975, in Fernandina Beach, Florida, to Denise Y. Goodlow. From a young age, Annesha exuded warmth, love, and a joyful spirit that would touch everyone she met.
Annesha found her calling in the hospitality industry, where she thrived as a Hospitality Manager at Texas A&M. Her dedication to her work was matched only by the love she had for her family. She cherished every moment spent with them—whether singing karaoke, playing Candy Crush, or simply enjoying the joy of togetherness. Annesha lived a good life, filled with laughter, strength, and the love of many.
On May 18, 2025, Annesha was called home at UTMB in Galveston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Denise Y. Goodlow; her sister, Amanda; her uncle, Michael Goodlow; and other dear family members who went before her.
Annesha leaves behind a loving legacy: her devoted husband, Stephen D. Williams Sr.; her children, Stephen D. Williams Jr., Jamarkus T. Williams Sr. (Brittany), and Endiya A. N. Williams (Kendrick); her sisters, Lisa Goodlow (O.Z.), Donniesha Spurlock (Kelton), Destiny Spurlock (Robert), and Sheila Franklin; her cherished grandchildren, Jamarkus Williams Jr., Jaida Williams, and Jace Williams; her nieces, Vacristian Times and Amber Smith (L.A.); nephews, Robert Jackson IV, Jaiden Jackson, and Tristian Denton; great-nephew, Josiah Franklin; and her dear friend, Major Sowell.
A celebration of Annesha’s life will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Greater Mount Gilead Baptist Church, 3506 Ave N 1/2, Galveston, TX 77550.
Following the burial service, a repast will be held at Old Central Cultural Center, 2627 Avenue M, Galveston, TX 77550.
