Adaminto “Rico” Rosario, born February 13, 1957, in the Bronx, New York, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Rico’s presence was a blessing to all who knew him.
He was the cherished son of the late Dalila Rosario, and brother to the late Raymond Rosario and Manuel “Booie” Rosario. He is survived by his devoted wife and soulmate, Charlotte Rosario; his brother Joe Rosario; his children Amy Rosario, Eddie Rosario, Adam Rosario, and Eddie LaRue.
He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Travis, Brooklyn, Payton, Roman, Kiara, MacKenzie, Joey, Nic, and Thomas; and great-grandchildren: Onyx, Brylee, Everlee, and Kailani.
Rico was a man of unwavering dedication, known for his warm smile and contagious laughter. A proud self-made welder and an even prouder crane operator for the Union, he found joy in the simple pleasures—fishing, crabbing, and taking long walks along the beach. He embraced “The Island Life” in Galveston alongside his best friend and wife, Charlotte. Rico was a loyal Houston Astros fan, but his greatest loyalty and love were always reserved for his family.
He waited until everyone could gather at his side to say goodbye—a testament to his enduring love and selfless heart. Rico’s memory will live on in the stories, smiles, and strength of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
